SYLMAR - A man who was found fatally stabbed in Sylmar was identified today as a Sun Valley resident.
A passerby reported seeing the victim about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday in 12900 block of Aztec Street, according to Sgt. Kirk Kahoe of the Los Angeles Police Department's Mission Station.
Peter Ziehler, 39, was pronounced dead at a hospital, Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the coroner's office said.
No arrests were reported, according to the LAPD.
