Emily Maynard gives engagement ring back to 'Bachelor' Brad Womack

Emily Maynard said it was over when she gave back Brad Womack's engagement ring.

There's no ring on this finger.

Emily Maynard was spotted running errands in her hometown of Charlotte, N.C. last week, sans engagement ring, reports Us Weekly.

The photos confirm last week's reports that Maynard, 25, and her "Bachelor" fianc�, Brad Womack, have officially called it quits.

The couple's on-again-off-again engagement met its end when Maynard gave back the ring Womack placed on her finger during the show's finale, a source confirms to Us, adding, "It's completely over now."

Another source close to Maynard tells the mag the break-up came shortly after the couple's reunion and apparent reconciliation in Texas earlier this month.

Maynard was definitely the one who brought on the final split, reveals another insider, saying the challenge of a long-distance relationship proved too much.

"Emily is happy in Charlotte and is not moving to Austin with [her 5-year-old daughter] Ricky," the insider adds. "She is content."

Distance had been a major issue for the couple, with Womack insisting that Maynard move to Texas to pursue their relationship. This, along with fears of infidelity, were reportedly the causes of the previous break-ups as well.

A friend adds that Womack is having a harder time with the broken engagement. "Brad keeps drunk-dialing her," a friend says. "Brad is such a loser."
