Nicole Scherzinger will co-host US X Factor with Steve Jones
US X Factor co-host Nicole Scherzinger will be working with both Paula Abdul and Cheryl Cole on the new show, but seems she has a favourite judge.
'I am a big fan of Paula's,' says Nicole, 32. 'It's just great to have girls around.'
Nicole, 32, and Cheryl, 27, met up for the first time on The X Factor UK last November and it was a tad awkward.
The Pussycat Doll had been blanked by the Geordie star several times over the summer.
?Nicole tried to hook up with her,' revealed a source.
?Every time she was in LA she got word to Cheryl that she'd love to take her out for a drink but Cheryl didn't reply to her texts.'
Before Cheryl's seat on the US judging panel was finally confirmed by Simon Cowell, Nicole thought she'd be a much better choice.
'That
would be an honour if [Simon] did ask me,' Nicole told Now.
'But everything in the right time.
I'd have to think about it because it's a huge commitment.'
