Jeremy Piven literally can't roll without his 'Entourage'

Jeremy Piven isn't quite a spring chicken any more - the actor stumbled over a couch at a club.

Jeremy Piven won't be playing a hurdler any time soon. At the post-screening party for his film "Angel's Crest" at 675 Bar in the Meatpacking District on Friday, Piven hung out with co-star Mira Sorvino before turning his attention to two hotties in their 20s ? a blond and a brunette ? being chatted up by two friends of his in a corner. Piven, 45, joined in on the fun, but when the posse made a quick exit by jumping a couch to avoid the crowd, he didn't exactly follow. After his buds scaled the sofa with ease, Piven approached the obstacle and hesitantly lifted his leg before finally stumbling over the furniture and out the door.

Paz finds a pal

Paz de la Huerta was on her best behavior at the after-party for "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" on Sunday night. The troubled actress, who was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after allegedly attacking Samantha Swetra in a bar brawl, arrived at the Anchor Bar in SoHo with a male companion, and after taking pictures with fans at the American Express-sponsored bash, headed to the back of the room to greet Kelly and Jack Osbourne. Wiseacres couldn't help noting that Paz spent a good portion of the night talking to "The Fighter" director David O. Russell, who was clad in an Ozzy T-shirt. Perhaps Russell, who reportedly came to blows with George Clooney on the set of his 1999 gem "Three Kings," sensed a kindred spirit.

Belushi plays proud papa

Jim Belushi gave his regards to Broadway Sunday night ? or at least those who make it possible. At the opening-night party for "Born Yesterday" at the Edison Ballroom, Belushi, who plays Harry Brock in the play, sang Barrett Strong's Motown hit "Money (That's What I Want)" with the bash's band, after dedicating the tune to the show's investors. Belushi then introduced his 12-year-old daughter, Jamison, who sang an a cappella version of "What a Wonderful World" while, a source tells us, her proud dad stood off to the side of the stage "on the verge of tears."

The insider also tells us that earlier that night, Liza Minnelli could be heard proclaiming Nina Arianda, who plays Billie Dawn, "the next big thing on Broadway." Meanwhile, an overwhelmed Arianda kept gushing: "I met Liza Minnelli! She touched me!"

Derek Jeter cheers on Smithers' social science award

Derek Jeter, his Yankee bosses Hal and Hank Steinbrenner, and their sister, Jennifer Swindal ? the children of the late George Steinbrenner ? were among the first to congratulate their good friend Adele Smithers for being chosen to receive a rarely given Silver Honor Medal from the National Institute of Social Sciences. Smithers, the president of the Christopher D. Smithers Foundation, will be officially honored at a Harvard Club luncheon Wednesday. The award is for her longtime dedication to alleviating the problems of alcoholism and addiction.

Punk rock princess

Bono's 19-year-old daughter, Memphis Eve, doesn't necessarily have the Edge when it comes to getting past the velvet rope. A source tells us a doorman didn't seem to recognize the aspiring actress when she tried to get into the post-screening party for "Lotus Eater" at Liberty Hall in the Ace Hotel on Thursday night. After 10 minutes of pleading her case, the U2 front man's kid, who arrived with "One Tree Hill" actor James Lafferty and two other young ladies, announced she was "really exhausted" and left in a cab, Moments later, Lafferty gave up as well.

Old Spice gets saucy with a waitress

The Old Spice dude has added new zest to the gossip mill. Isaiah Mustafa, who shills for the fragrance and co-stars in "Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family," turned heads when he walked the red carpet at the film's L.A. premiere with Tania Dawn. The starlet told us the two have known each other for seven years and met at Le Bar Bat in Hollywood "when I was a cocktail waitress." (Insert trademark whistle here.)
